Photonics. World of Lasers and Optics 2024 is once again going to be a landmark event for manufacturers and suppliers of laser, optical and optoelectronic products.
Photonics technologies are being actively developed and applied in different spheres: manufacturing industries, medicine, IT, security, agriculture, space exploration, construction and others. The exhibition is growing together with the industry. Its floor space and number of participants increased by more than 50% compared to the last year.

Conference programme
The Photonics’ conference programme reflects all the main trends of the current laser and optoelectronics market and will bring together more than 30 events with the participation of leading industry experts. Its organisers are the Laser Association and EXPOCENTRE AO.
The key event of this year’s conference programme is the 12th Congress of the Photonics Technology Platform, which will include 19 conferences on such photonics related topics as laser macromachining of industrial materials, semiconductor photonics and nanophotonics, photonics test and measurement and diagnostic technology, optical materials, elements and components, photonics in agriculture, optic fibres and fibre optic components, holographic technologies, laser micromachining in microelectronics, instrument making, engraving and marking, optical sensorics, quantum technologies, metrology support for photonics, fibre optic communication lines and their components, laser information systems, radiophotonics, optoelectronic systems and components, photonics in medicine and life sciences, etc.
Another important event is the Plenary Meeting of the 12th Congress of the Photonics Technology Platform. It will cover the topics of semiconductor lasers, quantum computing with single neutral atoms, and optic fibres in photonics. One more event is the Panel on Personnel Training for the Photonics Industry. Activities of the Student Section of the North-West Republican Centre of the Laser Association.
The Perm Scientific and Industrial Instrument Making Company and EXPOCENTRE AO will hold the Workshop on Applied Photonics. Industry professionals will discuss the problems that need to be solved to implement new laser technologies in various spheres of human life.
